Folkuniversitetet invites you to an evening full of diverse cultural experiences where different art forms are represented: film, opera, contemporary music, jazz, folk music, baroque, piano improvisation, musical theatre, dance, and art exhibitions.

Programme activities

18:00 - 19:00 — Screening and discussion with Jonas Wallin and Helena Janzén

About the multimedial movies "Vägen till Klockrike" & "Perolin un sain Baip". In Swedish.

19:00 - 19:20 — Pop up baroque

Live music with Kevin Ortiz Martinez, guitar and Linda Dahlin, soprano.

19:30 - 20:30 — Opera fusion

Opera, dance, folkmusic & Bellman come together in a dynamic performance by Operapelago.

20:30 - 20:45 — Piano improvisations by Maria Cvetkovich-Destouni

Maria improvises to her own paintings.

20:45 - 21:05 — Opera Light

Easygoing opera gems performed by the Opera Production education's ensemble.

21:05 - 22:15 — "Dido och Aeneas" by H. Purcell.

A fully staged opera by the opera production students. Dir.: H Janzén, music: M. Nellborn.

22:15 - 23:00 — Open stage: song

To sing, register at helena.janzen@folkuniversitetet.se no later than the 1st of April.

23:00 - 00:00 — Round midnight

Song students from the course programme present musical theatre and jazz.
