Open with free admission 6 PM to 12 AM

Listen to music from around the world, appreciate poetry readings in a variety of languages, or perform at the library’s poetry open mic stage! Meet creative people and try your hand at sculpture, botanical drawing and fun drawing exercises for both new and experienced artists.

Programme activities

18:00 - 18:30 — Songlines – music from around the world

Hear choir songs from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Sweden and more.

18:30 - 19:00 — Poetry open mic

Read your own poems on the libary's stage! Readings in all languages are welcome.

19:00 - 19:20 — The Interbok Bookstore reads poetry in Swedish and Russian

19:30 - 19:50 — Listen to the rain - poetry & prose from around the world

The Karavan magazine gives a sample from the spring issue on the theme "rain".

20:00 - 20:45 — Concert with Lamine Cissokho

The ancient Senegalese kora tradition with innovative and electronic elements.

21:00 - 00:00 — Creative drop-in with sketching club (intro every hour)

Try sculpting, botanical drawing, fun drawing exercises, all led by experienced creatives.

This specific event is not affected by the Swedish Police Authority's bag ban.

Free coffee & tea all night. All materials needed for the drawing and sculpture are provided by the library. Limited availability, make sure to arrive in time.
