When does Stockholm Culture Night take place?

When is the programme released?

The programme for the next Stockholm Culture Night will be released in march 2026. The exact date is yet to be set.

Are all events free of charge during Stockholm Culture Night?

All events has free admission during Stockholm Culture Night.

Do I need to book a ticket?

At most of the venues you can come and go as you please, but for some shows, guided tours and workshops you may need to book a free ticket in advance. When the programme is published, you can check the specific event on the Culture Night website to see if the event you want to take part of requires a ticket.

Is everything open from 6 PM to 12 AM?

All venues that are part of Kulturnatten are open at least 6 PM to 12 AM – with a few exceptions. Walks take place only at specific times.

Is there any programme that is suitable for children?

If you check the Culture Night programme when it is released and filter on the genre ”Family”, all the events that have programme that is especially suitable for children will appear.

How accessible are the events during the Culture Night?

At the bottom of every event description on the Culture Night website you can find symbols that state the accessibility of each venue. You can read more about the criteria of all the symbols here. Every venue is responsible for making sure that they live up to their stated accessibility status. If you have further questions about the accessibility of a particular venue, please contact that venue directly.

How do I avoid long lines during the Culture Night?

Culture Night consists of hundreds of different events. Sometimes, a lot of people gather around the largest events. A tip for a calmer Culture Night is to look for the smaller gems in Stockholm’s cultural scene.
