The Stockholm Culture Night will takes place on the 18th of April 2026 from 6 pm to 12 am.
All events has free admission during Stockholm Culture Night.
At most of the venues you can come and go as you please, but for some shows, guided tours and workshops you may need to book a free ticket in advance. When the programme is published, you can check the specific event on the Culture Night website to see if the event you want to take part of requires a ticket.
All venues that are part of Kulturnatten are open at least 6 PM to 12 AM – with a few exceptions. Walks take place only at specific times.
At the bottom of every event description on the Culture Night website you can find symbols that state the accessibility of each venue. You can read more about the criteria of all the symbols here. Every venue is responsible for making sure that they live up to their stated accessibility status. If you have further questions about the accessibility of a particular venue, please contact that venue directly.
Most establishments allow bags, but some have restrictions. These are: Nordiska museet, Korean Culture Center, Nationalmuseum, The Swedish Parliament, Riddarhuset, Strindbergsmuseet, Swedish Holocaust Museum, Embassy of Hungary, Junibacken, Carl Eldhs Ateljémuseum, Stockholm Cathedral, Stockholm City Hall, Stadsarkivet and Spökslottet | Stockholms universitet. Culture Night consists of hundreds of different events. Sometimes, a lot of people gather around the largest events. A tip for a calmer Culture Night is to look for the smaller gems in Stockholm’s cultural scene.
