St Mark's Church

The program in St Mark’s starts out light-hearted with musical numbers and classical lieders, and then goes darker as the evening progresses, with parts of the Stockholm underground scene taking the stage with an atmospheric post-rock programme.

18:00 - 18:10 — Evening bells

Listen to the manual church bells of St Mark's, ringing in the Sabbath.

18:10 - 18:45 — Romances and recital with Eva Karpe and Valerie Bjelkeborn.

Pieces for voice and piano by Schubert, Fauré and others.

19:00 - 19:45 — Broadway folksongs with Anda

Musical meets folk with Mattias Ristholm and Anders Peev. Bouzouki, keyed fiddle and song.

20:00 - 20:30 — Architectural tour of the Church (in Swedish)

20:30 - 21:00 — Architectural tour of the Church (In Swedish)

21:00 - 21:45 — O Lethe

Gloomy, atmospheric alt-rock duo from Stockholm.

22:00 - 22:30 — Djup frid

Noisy synthesizers, electric guitar and song.

22:45 - 23:30 — Svartvatten

Loosely defined as indie rock, Svartvatten play their slowest set ever this evening.

23:15 - 00:00 — Midnight Organ

Atmospheric organ music in the dimly lit churchroom. With and by Valerie Bjelkeborn.
