Writer August Strindberg lived his final years at Drottninggatan 85. Feel the presence in his art nouveau home. Visit both the permanent exhibition and “Return of the wives”, an exhibition on the lives of Siri von Essen, Frida Uhl and Harriet Bosse after their divorces from Strindberg.
Please leave your bags in the museum's wardrobe. Due to limited space, some rooms may become crowded.
